Algemene Voorwaarden van Verkoop
Version of 29 October 2026
1. Scope
These terms apply to every order placed on nickeltabs.com for laser-cut pure nickel parts made from the customer’s own design (DXF files or a design created with our battery pack configurator). Nickel Tabs is a brand of 40 WATTS. We deliver only within the European Union.
2. Seller
40 WATTS, simplified joint-stock company (SAS), registered in Vannes under number 921 198 230, VAT number FR03921198230, workshop: 2B avenue du Général de Gaulle, 56380 Guer, France. E-mail: [email protected]. Phone: +33 2 59 16 39 32.
3. Parts made to your design
Parts are cut from pure nickel 0.15 mm thick (Ni 99.6 % minimum), not nickel-plated steel. The customer is responsible for the design: shapes, dimensions, fit in the pack, current rating and suitability for the intended use. We check that the files can be manufactured, not that the design suits your project. We may refuse a file that cannot be cut cleanly.
4. Orders and contract
The price shown on the website is calculated from your files. When you send an order, the workshop checks your files and e-mails you a quotation with a payment link. The contract is concluded when you pay the quotation. Orders above 250 g of nickel, or outside the online rates, are always quoted by the workshop.
5. Prices and VAT
Prices are in euros excluding VAT; VAT is added under the rules of the European Union. A business with a valid EU VAT number outside France is invoiced without VAT (reverse charge). Shipping is added to the price of the parts according to the delivery country and the weight. The minimum order is 25 € excluding VAT of parts.
6. Payment
Payment is due in full when the quotation is accepted, online by card or PayPal through the link of the quotation, or by bank transfer. Cutting starts after payment. The parts remain the property of 40 WATTS until full payment.
7. Lead time and delivery
Parts are usually cut within one week (5 working days) after payment, then shipped flat by La Poste (tracked letter or Colissimo) to an address in the European Union. Risk passes to a consumer on delivery, and to a business when the parcel is handed to the carrier. Please check the parcel on delivery and report any damage to us within 3 days.
8. No right of withdrawal
The parts are made to the customer’s specifications. Under article L221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to them.
9. Conformity and guarantees
Parts conform when they match the paid quotation and your files, within the usual tolerances of laser cutting. Consumers benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-3 and following of the Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 and following of the Civil Code). A business must report any non-conformity within 8 days of receipt; we then recut or replace the parts, or refund them.
10. Battery safety
Lithium-ion batteries carry fire and short-circuit risks. The design, welding, assembly, testing and use of any battery pack built with our parts are the customer’s responsibility. Our parts are raw cut nickel, not certified battery components.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for an order is limited to the amount paid for that order, and excludes indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that consumers hold under the law.
12. Your files and your data
You confirm that you hold the rights to the files you send. We use them only to make your order and keep them for repeat orders and our records; we never share them. Personal data is used to handle quotations, orders and invoices, and kept for the legal periods. You can access, correct or delete your data by writing to [email protected].
13. Complaints and mediation
Please contact us first at [email protected]. If no solution is found, a consumer may refer the dispute free of charge to the consumer mediator CM2C, 14 rue Saint-Jean, 75017 Paris, France, www.cm2c.net.
14. Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. For consumers, the competent courts are those set by law. For businesses, any dispute not settled amicably within 30 days falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Rennes Court of Appeal.
